A small little deli with several traditional hot deli-style sandwiches, along with some pre-prepared cold wraps and salads. The hot sandwiches are made to order. (and, yes, they sell draft beer!)
I had the California Veggie Wrap which was decent but tipped the scales at a whopping $9.80. Again, I need to mention that it is pre-prepared and served cold, but at least it was fresh. They included a nice sized dollop of avocado on the side, but I wish they would have put it in the wrap before it was made. It was just too hard to unwrap it, spread it around and then wrap it all up nice and neat again. Not that big of a deal, just a note.
They close at 10pm but at 730pm all the chairs were already stacked on the tables, so you had to sit on the patio - but who's going to complain about eating outside in this climate, right???
They appeared to only have one girl working, and she was taking orders and prepping the hot sandwiches. The place wasn't extremely busy, but things could have moved quicker if they had one cashier and one person doing the food prep. -

Umm.
What on Earth.
Why does this place only have 2 stars?
Well, lemme be the one to put em back on the map.
The service was pretty awesome. The gal ringing us up has a freaking amazing accent. She's super friendly as well.
I ordered the Carousel sandwich, which is turkey, bacon & avocado. I mean, like, what a perfect trifecta. I chose sourdough. The deli also offers, white, wheat, multigrain, ciabatta & baguette. The "Carousel" also came standard with mayo, mustard & tomato. Perfect, delightful sandwich. Nice flavor in the turkey, bacon adds that nice saltiness to every bite and the avocado smooths out the flavors with its creamy richness. Yum!
They have combos serving up sandwiches with a soup or salad. I preferred to add chips & a drink. Hubby got a baked potato (I know, weird, but he just got gastric bypass surgery done, so he's on a limited diet at the moment). We got our lil tot a protein pack which was more than enough food for her. She nibbled on grapes, cheddar cheese & some of the hard boiled egg. The protein pack also came with almonds.
For touristy season and lunch rush, there was actually a good amount of seating. And we didn't wait too long for our food. Both a plus because we had our lil toddler with us.
Overall, good deli. Definitely deserves more than their 2 star rating. Give em a chance. Ooh, also, their beer on tap looked so refreshing! A couple guys ordered some and wowsers! Tall and frosty beer with a fresh deli sandwich? Yes please! Maybe I'll do that next time! -

Extremely bad service I encounter yesterday 9/21/19 around 4:45 pm
I am a local, only live a mile away. My wife and I love to bike and walk all around the marina district to little Italy, I usually stop for a bite and a beer at seaport village Deli and or surroundings to buy a large blue moon and ask for a tall empty cup for my wife to either share or simply top it with ice and water. I have never been that humiliated ! The lady behind the counter deny me from a cup telling me that "she's not allowed" and if I want a free cup take the ones on the left (tiny fragile cups) I reply to her that I am a customer and I always get a free empty tall cup. She then proceed to argue with me in front of customers saying she can't with a smirk in her face ! Needless to say that it was embarrassing for me , made me feel like I was begging or I was just a freeloader. We all know that we pay top dollar for a beer over there ! The least the lady could do is give me a cup for my wife and say thanks for your purchase. I hope I raise awareness to the owner and do the right thing -

Not the best food. The pizza place around the corner is much better. I got the potato salad and it did not taste right and had a hair in it... A HAIR!!! It was not mine, mine was tied and also I do not have wavy/semi-curly hair. Disgusted and will not return.

A sign inside proclaims "The Best Sandwiches in Town". If that's true then I feel sorry for San Diego.
My rumbling stomach let me know I needed something to tide me over until dinner while walking the Embarcadero. I opted to stop here for an overpriced pastrami sandwich.
After taking a seat in a lounge chair on their small patio and listening to a fellow known as "The Sinatra Guy" croon tunes nearby, my sammy was ready in about 5 minutes and my number was called for pick up. The sandwich was on a fresh marble rye which had no rye flavor whatsoever. The hot pastrami was fairly tender but far too salty. Some yellow mustard was spread inside and helped it limp along (as did a slice of pickle on the side).
This was fine for a quickie bite to relieve the hunger pangs but I can't imagine anyone actually recommending it.
